How long does it take from order to delivery?

When your plans are complete, the place in the shop production line is scheduled.  Depending on time of year and overall shop activity, your Zeronet Modular Home™ may be delivered in as quickly as 75 days!

What's included in a Zeronet Modular Home™ package?
The standard package includes most everything from the foundation sill up. Homeowners can select different interior trim levels and mechanical packages to suit their needs. The extent of renewable energy systems provided with the initial package is decided by the homeowner. Insulated Concrete Forms for the foundation are also available as an optional package.
How much does a Zeronet Modular Home™ cost?

In our prime market east of the Appalachians, Zeronet Modular Homes™ are very competitive with conventional construction.  A basic package with simple mechanical systems and without renewable energy systems, can cost as little as $110 a square foot for the "above foundation sill" package delivered and set on the foundation! Now that's competitive!

How long will it take to build my Zeronet Modular Home™?
Barring the unforeseen, from initial contact to Certificate of Occupancy, entire project will typically take about 6 to 9 months.  Sometimes faster.  Impressive, eh?
Can I customize my Zeronet Modular Home™?

Yes!  If you can dream it, we will engineer it as a Zeronet Modular Home™ and build it for you.

Why is a Zeronet Modular Home™ considered an ideal platform for zero net energy?

In their simplest form, Zeronet Modular Homes™ are super insulated and highly energy efficient.  When it comes to building envelopes, you are only as strong as your weakest link.  Start with a super insulated shell, add performance engineered windows and doors, and you've begun the first steps toward Zero Net!  The size (and cost) of renewable energy systems is directly related to the efficiency of the building envelope.

Once my home is set on the foundation, how long does it take to finish a Zeronet Modular Home™?
One to two months is typical depending on the size of the finishing crew and extent of site work.
Do I have to seek LEED certification?
No, seeking LEED certification is purely optional and up to each customer to determine.  Many LEED rated homes qualify for local, state and federal subsidies based on the level of LEED certification achieved. And, LEED certification may help custmer quantify their project's "green-ness" for resale.  Zeronet Modular Homes will help the customer seek certifiation if desired.
Does my homesite need a clear view to the southern sky?
The short answer is no.  The better your orientation to the south the more options you will have to take advantage of the sun's energy; however, insulation trumps orientation, and your Zeronet Modular Home™ is highly energy efficient even without ideal southern orientation.
Do Zeronet Modular Homes™ conform to national fire code?
Yes. In fact, borated cellulose doesn't really burn well at all. We can even add fire sprinkler systems at the shop if local codes require.
Is a full basement required for the Zeronet Modular Home™ to perform as designed?

Nope.  Your Zeronet Modular Home™ can be set on an insulated slab, insulated crawl space, insulated full foundation or even on piers at the beach! Flexible!

Are Zeronet Modular Homes™ available anywhere in the US?

Our shop-built homes are crafted under exclusive trademark license by Simplex Industries Inc in Scranton PA for the eastern market from Maine to Georgia.  If you live outside of that area, contact us and we will find a solution for your market.

What is the ideal topography for a Zeronet Modular Home™?

Zeronet Modular Homes™ do not require any specific topography however prospective clients should plan on site engineering as part of their project.

Is Zeronet Modular Homes™ able to connect us with the help necessary to build our home?
YES!  We are prepared to connect customers with building solutions appropriate to their needs.
